Isabella stood frozen, her mind completely blank.

How could Chloe be here?!

Her fingers trembled, and she wanted nothing more than to flee.

Chloe had been timid, her confidence shattered by her husband and mother-in-law's betrayal.

But with her brother's gentle guidance, she looked up.

Expecting to see that hateful woman, she instead met her savior's cool gaze.

Ryan reassured her softly. "Chloe, don't be afraid. Speak your mind."

Mr. Roland smacked his son's head. "Ryan, did you point to the wrong person? This is Miss Evelyn, Chloe's savior!"

Chloe nodded vigorously.

Ryan was stunned, looking at Evelyn.

The woman's face was cold, her eyes filled with anger.

He then looked at Isabella, seeing her evasive eyes and trembling body…

Ryan understood instantly!

He pointed at Isabella and asked Chloe, "Tell me, who is she?"

Chloe glanced over and immediately looked away. "Brother, make her leave. I don't want to see her!"

Her attitude said it all.

Ryan's expression changed drastically. "So Evelyn is your real savior, and Isabella is that vicious woman who left you to die and kicked you when you were down?"

Chloe nodded firmly.

Their conversation was heard clearly by everyone.

The crowd erupted in shock, staring at Isabella and Julian.

Julian's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Isabella.

Isabella's face was deathly pale.

Silence fell over the room.

The executives who had accused Evelyn and Alexander earlier were now mute.

A deep, cold voice broke the silence. "Mr. Roland, now who has poor judgment?"

Alexander's tone was sarcastic. "I suggest you see an optometrist."

Ryan opened his mouth but had no retort.

Jason quipped sarcastically, "Maybe don't save people so readily in the future, lest someone else takes credit… Oh, and Mr. Roland, you said you'd make sure Miss Evelyn couldn't source raw materials domestically? Is this how the Roland family repays their savior?"

Ryan immediately looked at Evelyn, full of apology.

He had been dissatisfied with Isabella lately for her constant demands.

The real savior had never asked for anything in return!

He said solemnly, "Miss Evelyn, I was blind. I will provide all the raw materials you need!"

"…Alright."

Evelyn's anger faded, replaced by amusement.

She never imagined Isabella would stoop so low as to steal credit.

She didn't blame Ryan, but his poor judgment meant less cooperation in the future.

After apologizing, Ryan remembered the real culprit and demanded sharply, "Where is Isabella?"

"She just ran…"

Ryan glared at Julian. "Mr. Evans, you must give me an explanation for this!"

The stares and whispers made Julian squirm.

Ryan took a deep breath and looked at Alexander. "Mr. Vance, I retract my suggestion from the signing. I demand that Mr. Evans be barred from all collaborative projects between the Roland and Vance families."

Alexander nodded faintly. "Agreed."

He scanned the room. "The proposal to promote Julian Evans to General Manager is canceled. He is also removed from his position as VP of R&D. Any objections?"

Everyone shook their heads.

Julian felt his face burn with humiliation!

He clenched his fists and left in shame.

"Savior!"

Chloe called out softly, approaching Evelyn with red-rimmed eyes. "My brother is so stupid, mixing up people… Did he do anything awful to you?"

Evelyn glanced at Ryan.

He tried to appear composed but couldn't hide his panic.

She smiled slightly. "No."

Chloe sighed in relief. "That's good."

Ryan was taken aback, looking at Evelyn with gratitude.

Then his expression darkened. "Mr. Vance, where does Isabella live? She must face consequences for her actions!"

Alexander narrowed his eyes and nodded to Thomas. "Assist Mr. Roland."

"Yes."

Evelyn lowered her head, speaking softly with Chloe.

Mr. Roland stared intently at her.

Mrs. Roland poked him. "Old man, what are you looking at?"

Mr. Roland's eyes lit up. "I remember now! I thought Miss Evelyn looked familiar… I know who her mother is!"

He approached Evelyn. "Miss Evelyn, is your mother's surname Nan?"
