Stardew Valley

Find all six hardwood stumps in the Secret Woods

If your daily route ends after four stumps, the last two are behind the canopy. Enter with the right axe and keep it equipped long enough to clear the whole loop.

Identify the entrance log

Walk to the northwest corner of Cindersap Forest, near the Traveling Cart’s usual area. The obstacle across the way is a large log, not one of the round stumps on the farm. A Copper Axe can break large stumps but the entrance log calls for a Steel Axe or better. When arranging an upgrade with Clint, wait until the tool is ready to collect before bringing it back here. Once the log is gone, walk through the open path.

Count the hidden pair before leaving

Clear the four large stumps in the upper clearing. Go slightly southeast of the upper cluster of three and walk into the canopy toward the lower enclosure. The trees hide a walkable opening. If that approach is awkward, another passage starts south of the entrance, near the bush. Chop the two lower stumps and count the haul: six stumps yield twelve hardwood. They grow back daily, so return on a new day for another set.

Handle the statue as a separate visit

Old Master Cannoli’s request is unrelated to the stump count. Bring a Sweet Gem Berry, not a seed or an ordinary berry; select the harvested fruit and offer it to the statue. Interact again to collect the Stardrop after the statue changes. If you only came for wood and have no fruit, finish the chopping loop and come back after growing a Rare Seed. Leaving the statue unsolved does not stop the stumps from returning.
