Turn one rainy fall day into three Fish Tank catches
Pack the rod the night before fall rain. Catfish, Walleye and Eel can all be found on the same wet day, but the river and the sea have different fishing windows. This route assumes ordinary bait and the standard bundles.
Start in the river for Catfish
Fish the Pelican Town river in the morning. Catfish can bite there from 6am until midnight in spring or fall rain. Avoid the beach and avoid the Training Rod: the fish exceeds its easy-fish limit. Other river fish can still bite; a fish that is hooked and escapes is a different problem from a session with no eligible Catfish at all. If one bites, follow its movement before spending time on treasure. Put the first catch aside for the River Fish Bundle.
Stay in town for the noon Walleye window
From noon onward on that rainy fall day, your river casts can also hook Walleye. If Walleye is the only missing fish, the Cindersap Forest pond is another valid choice; do not keep casting in the sea for it. Its window lasts until 2am, but switching water at the right time matters more than fishing one spot all night. A sunny fall night by itself does not meet the rain requirement. Store the Walleye for the Night Fishing Bundle.
Reach the Beach from 4pm for Eel
Walk to the docks and cast into the ocean once it is 4pm. Eel is a spring or fall rainy-evening target and remains eligible until 2am. Midnight is not the opening time: you can make several casts before dark. The Night Fishing Bundle takes Eel and Walleye alongside Bream. If you catch Catfish in the afternoon and leave before Walleye bites, choose whether to return after catching Eel or save the missing catch for another rainy day. Stop early enough to make it home.
